CELTIC and FIA Meeting in Valencia, Spain

MOMENT was present in both, CELTIC event and Future Internet meeting, that took place (co-located) in Valencia, Spain from April12 till 16:  

In the CELTIC event, MOMENT presented a demo and distributed leaflets in the booth of TRAMMS project with wich MOMENT cooperates offering its interface for the QoS supervision systems developed in TRAMMS.

In the FIA meeting, MOMENT was present through the ISG MOI of ETSI and supporting contributions for both sessions in the framework of setting objectives “Towards a Future Internet Architecture”

·        FI Reference model that dealt with MANA concepts supported by some MOMENT partners.

·        How to move white papers and ideas to standardisation?, which presented MOI pre-standardization initiative as a good example of how EU-funded projects can give rise to standards and support new products.

Despite the demo presented was still quite premature, the general approach of MOMENT and its potential was appreciated: For network management improving, security and QoS applications support.

A coordinated action plan within ETSI to further develop all ISG related to Future Internet issues (AFI, MOI and FIA) was agreed as pragmatic result of the informal meetings that took place in Valencia events.
